ReFILE

I have an estate final return to file. I used the T1 adjustment to set up for the Refile but noticed afterward I had missed some information. Can I delete the prior adjustments and start again.

The field at the bottom of the T1 ReFILE Request, where I can write comments or information on changes made, moves up once I start typing, forcing me to type without seeing what I am typing. I had the same problem last year and I did bring it to the attention of Profile-apparently to no avail (not that I am surprised). Any plans to fix it this year-or in the future?

How can I open a 2020 T2 on Tax Prep in Profile so I can refile this year T2

Am I able to refile a T1 return initially filed by another tax preparer? How do I do this on Profile if it is possible?

I have a question on re-file

I HAVE A NEW CLIENT THAT ISSUED A T3 TRUST RETURN FOR THE DEATH BENEFIT BY PAPER, I WOULD LIKE TO AMEND THIS AND CANCEL THIS FOR THE EXECUTOR PREFERS TO JUST CLAIM IT ON HIS RETURN, HOW DO YOU GO ON IN AMENDING AND CANCELLING THE T3 THAT WAS FILED

New for ReFILEWe have improved features in ReFILE to include questions and messages when additional information is needed, errors are detected, or supporting documentation is needed to finalize your request. You can now carry-back amounts such as capital or non-capital losses. You can now split pension income. Both the transferring spouse or common-law partner and the receiving spouse or common-law partner have to ask for an adjustment if the elected split-pension amount was not previously claimed, before a request can be allowed. For more information, see How do you split your pension income? - Canada.ca. I still get the error message when I try to refile a T1 due to adding the elected split- pension. Could you help this out? Thanks.

I have had clients come back to me to say that what CRA assessed them for was different from what I filed.  When I investigated it, the discrepancy is the Federal Tax, one client had a difference of almost $400.00 lower than what Profile Assessed.  I redid the taxes only to get the same result.  Is CRA off or is Profiles formula's off?

Intuit Profile is not allowing me to refile who did their first time tax return. How can I do adjustment in their tax return?

HiI submitted my T2 using Turbo Tax Business Inc but I made a mistake. I need to submit a schedule 4 as well.  How can I fix this mistake? I heard about ReFile so it looks promising but I have never used it before.  Any suggestions is much appreciated. Thank you

Adjustment made to T1 Business Section. Refile error message re. Authorization Level 2. Efile help desk confirmed I have Level 2 and suggested problem is with program provider.

Hi all, what should I do to fix this refile error, refile rejected. following below is message from CRA. Also how can I claim tuition fee of a son who is 23 year old and his father want to claim tuition fee?---------------CRA Result Code: 513Only initial returns transmitted electronically and accepted by the CRA for that tax year are eligible for the ReFILE service.513 : Only initial returns transmitted electronically and accepted by the CRA for that tax year are eligible for the ReFILE service.T1 return was not accepted. Please correct the above error and re-transmit. EFILE Service Transaction ID : 1-606

I entered information on a T5008 slip and completed the taxes and sent them in. Then it was noticed that I put all the information in the boxes opposite of what they should be. Therefore there were capital losses not gain. Can I refile an amended return using the losses from the year before to offset the capital gains? Or give me some advice on what to do, please. Thank you!
