The system is still using 2019 limit rates when taking 100% bonus for auto depreciation.  2019 auto depreciation was limited at $14,900, but 2020 is limited at $18,100.  Found a question showing same issue from last year, so I was able to work around it for now. Active X  component  cannot create?  what does it really mean? how to fix this issue? 

Because nothing works with my couple clients one signature went through and that is the husband but the wife is not even able to pass the first question to sign.  I voided the request over 5 times and send the request but to no avail.  The choices for the question was answered still would  not go through. Can I just go ahead and abandon the e-signature so they cab just sign in person so I can e-file their return?  Honestly they are frustrated about the issue. Please advise.  Thank you.

I cannot install updates due to file extraction error 105 and run time error 75 nor do I have all day to stay on hold for tech support.  Only solution I see is to disable antivirus which I am specifically ordered to not do by IRS and other tech professionals.  I don't really know how this company stays in business and I am so looking for an alternative but for now any suggestions.  I use Drake Software for our tax program and if anyone is as fed up as I am check into their company.  They have amazing customer service and I am planning to change to their accounting program for next year!!!!

When entering ATF transactions through manual processing in the batch payroll module, the system is zeroing out federal withholding from the employee's check. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is there anyway to roll backward the asset depreciation schedule to a prior year in EASYACCT?I accidentally rolled forward to 2021 and now my Asset Summary Depreciation is off.What is the correct way to retrieve the prior years schedule?If not what are my options in retrieving the data from 2020? Thank You.

I cant view the processed files in the information return system.Went to C:/irs2020?1099EFNot showing up in the program.I have 3 files but they do it says no returns found to process.

When printing W-2 forms using Information Return System, I have marked the retirement plan box.It prints the x on employee copies but not on Copy D for Employer.Anyone have a fix for this?How  can I check to make sure it is marked on the forms I e-file with Social Security?

Hello All,Just got off the phone with EasyAcct and they (Karen) stated that an Update for both EasyAcct and Information Return System was posted today and is now available.  Keep your fingers crossed!

I update EasyAcct last Friday! Now it ask if I want to delete the shortcut? Says it corrupt? Want let me in the program any other way? Someone please help me as I have lots to do? Called but the office is closed.

What's going on????  Its January 19th.  When are we going to get the update to fix/correct the ongoing issues with EasyAcct and Information Return System.Someone please give a status update us ASAP. 

The 1099 PATR in the Information Return System is not printing the Recipients address on the 1099. When will there be an update to fix the problem.

Our office has used both EasyAcct and IRS (as well as Lacerte tax software) for 20+ years, but with the continued rising cost and declining product, it's time to start looking for something different and more reliable.   Many clients use QuickBooks, but I personally would rather use a professional write-up software to produce financial statements.  Wondering what others are/have used and how it might compare to the above Intuit products?Just can't believe all of the bugs and issues this year trying to print 1099's! 

An employee deleted all of 2020 payroll records in error prior to sending to IRS module. I believe someone with EasyAcct showed me how to recover this file years ago. If anyone knows how this is done please help ASAP.W2 forms and 1099 forms have to be filed.

Doesn't reflect Simple IRA contributions in box 12a nor does it show the Retirement Box checked.  It all shows on the filing copy A, but not the Employer copy D

The 401K deferral is not showing up on box 12 code D on the W-2

This has been going on for a while now but was not addressed in the latest update. When you create the transmission file for 1099-MISC with a WI withholding number on it, the .DAT file is not being generated accurately/completely. After a few hours on the phone with the state, we've figured out it's the IRS system, not a format issue. The W/H number that is input on box 15 in the prepare forms screen does not appear in the .DAT file when the transmission file is created. Also, the state identification number (code 55 for us) section is blank on the transmission files. 1099s cannot be electronically submitted in their current form.
