EasyACCT

When I open a company and click on "enter transactions" - the enter transactions screen will not open so that I can enter transactions, payroll, etc. I tried closing and rebooting computer and did not work. All my intuit products have been so glitchy, quickbooks, fixed asset manager, and Easyacct is always glitchy. Spending hours trying to troubleshoot and deal with these issues.

Has anyone else had issues with entering an additional federal withholding amount on the W4 tab from Line 4c on 2020/2021 W4 and Easy Acct does not withhold the extra amount per pay period?  We have an employee request an extra $50 per pay period be withheld, which we entered on the W4 tab under "Other Adjustments" at "Extra Withholdings" field.  When we calculate the pay, it doesn't withhold the extra $50.  Any fixes to this?  It works using the old method, if we don't check the 2020 W4 tab.  Sort of a problem because employee filled out 2021 W4, not the earlier version.  Any helpful hints to fix this?  Thank you!

I am on the most current version of EasyACCT and cannot run my 1st Quarter 2021 941 tax report because I keep getting runtime errors. I even uninstalled and reinstalled.

This has happened to a few clients in the past but now with the new 941 update, my fraction of cents on the 941 is populating a huge dollar amount that has no association with any totals.  I too on other clients am receiving the run time error code 6 that I've seen others are experiencing.  This is very frustrating!  Is anyone else having the same line 7 issues?

Has anyone had an issue with EasyAcct dropping payroll checks? I've identified two accounts with payroll processed weekly thru Payroll Check Computation with everything fine, but when a Payroll Journal is ran and Manual Processing checked, checks are just gone.

Why is Print Check Register above the Print Checks/Advices in the Menu? Logically It should be after you print the checks.. Am I wrong?

I can not get 2020 to download.  Any suggestions?

One of my clients submitted to IRS incorrect Forms 1099-MISC to their independent contractors with amounts in Box 1-Rents.  The instructions say to put -0- in Box 1 and mark "corrected", but the information returns system will not allow you to enter a -0- in the box.  Any ideas?

I just calculated payroll in Payroll Computation and then went back to manual payroll and it popped up a message "payroll tax entered does not match calculated amount".  Why would it be different when it just calculated it?  It looks like it is a difference between Federal and State, not FICA and Medicare. Anyon else having this problem?  Any advice?

The system is still using 2019 limit rates when taking 100% bonus for auto depreciation.  2019 auto depreciation was limited at $14,900, but 2020 is limited at $18,100.  Found a question showing same issue from last year, so I was able to work around it for now. Can you please update software to fix this?  Thank you!https://proconnect.intuit.com/community/easyacct-discussions/discussion/how-do-i-code-a-passenger-auto-to-get-the-special-depreciation/00/13620

Active X  component  cannot create?  what does it really mean? how to fix this issue?

Because nothing works with my couple clients one signature went through and that is the husband but the wife is not even able to pass the first question to sign.  I voided the request over 5 times and send the request but to no avail.  The choices for the question was answered still would  not go through. Can I just go ahead and abandon the e-signature so they cab just sign in person so I can e-file their return?  Honestly they are frustrated about the issue. Please advise.  Thank you.

I cannot install updates due to file extraction error 105 and run time error 75 nor do I have all day to stay on hold for tech support.  Only solution I see is to disable antivirus which I am specifically ordered to not do by IRS and other tech professionals.  I don't really know how this company stays in business and I am so looking for an alternative but for now any suggestions.  I use Drake Software for our tax program and if anyone is as fed up as I am check into their company.  They have amazing customer service and I am planning to change to their accounting program for next year!!!!

When entering ATF transactions through manual processing in the batch payroll module, the system is zeroing out federal withholding from the employee's check. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is there anyway to roll backward the asset depreciation schedule to a prior year in EASYACCT?I accidentally rolled forward to 2021 and now my Asset Summary Depreciation is off. What is the correct way to retrieve the prior years schedule? If not what are my options in retrieving the data from 2020? Thank You.

I cant view the processed files in the information return system.Went to C:/irs2020?1099EFNot showing up in the program.I have 3 files but they do it says no returns found to process.

When printing W-2 forms using Information Return System, I have marked the retirement plan box.It prints the x on employee copies but not on Copy D for Employer.Anyone have a fix for this? How  can I check to make sure it is marked on the forms I e-file with Social Security?

This company has been converted to a version later than the 2019/2020 EasyACCT version

I have an intuit account under [email address removed] I need one set up under [email address removed] so I can retrieve my 1099 tax information

Anyone else having trouble with the State copy and Employer copy of the W-2 not printing 12d amounts?

Is anyone else having a problem with the update and cannot install it? I am getting a popup of a failed install due to an, "Improper file size comparison...."

Hello All,Just got off the phone with EasyAcct and they (Karen) stated that an Update for both EasyAcct and Information Return System was posted today and is now available.  Keep your fingers crossed!
