EasyACCT

We cannot all of a sudden access any of the companies saved in our server. We tried copying the file to C drive but this error just keeps popping up. We restarted our server and nothing seems to work! Anyone else experiencing this issue?   

How to e-file Form 940 and Form 941 in EasyACCT

I have downloaded the newest update (2025.2.1) and the only issue so far is that it is not printing the total  cents amount on the forms if there is a 0 in the field(s). Hopefully, this will be an easy fix soon

My colleague has closed AP for 2025.  A check was prepared in December 2025 that now needs to be voided (a replacement check has been cut this month). What steps need to be taken to properly void the check from December?

Wanted to chime in and update with what has worked successfully for us so far, for anyone who cares to know:1. Form 940 - we have had no issues with this form, and it has printed successfully for all of our clients.2. W2s - have printed successfully for all of our clients so far.3. Processing payroll - we have done one TX payroll & one IA payroll - no problems.4. Direct deposit processing - have processed payroll & direct deposit NACHA file for one client, uploaded to bank and has successfully posted to client's account.5. SUTA - Special SUTA forms - uploads for TX and LA have processed successfully for us.6. Also, while the first time we open a client account it does take some time to process the file, we are not seeing any major lag times reopening the file after the initial instance in the new program.  However, I have noticed that accessing some screens does seem to take a moment longer than I remember it opening.  However, nothing that is taking minutes at a time

If anyone else has a different bank account setup for creating vendor checks from their payroll checks, make sure to check  that they are printing on correct account.  I have them setup correctly in the Company Information setup but all vendor checks are printing on payroll account instead of vendor account setup!!! I now have to pay my clients bank bounced check fee!!

I have come across that i a missing 2 payrolls in the month of December.  Going back into November there was one missing that month as well.  Now i will have a penalty with the state since i have to send in the tax that was not calculated in that payroll.  This is SO far from ACCEPTABLE.  Is intuit going to cover all the penalties for something their program is not calculating right.  THIS is last year so its not like we can switch anything over for that.  Even this year the tax tables have yet to be updated.

I have an employee that have an amount under line 4b on W4. Where do I enter that amount in EasyAcct? Does anyone know? Please help. Thank you

I was told that another update would come out on Friday, Jan. 16th or Monday, Jan. 19th that would fix the A/R GL; however, I see no new update and support isn't available to help me.  I spoke with a supervisor by the name of Angela last week and she informed me to call on Monday if I still wasn't fixed.  I am so DONE with this company!  

A/R Transaction Entry, Cust ID does not sort correctly by name, continues to sort by ID only.Write-Up Transaction Entry, Employee: Only employee first name displays.  Cannot sort by last name.Network traffic jumps to about 500 Mbps (half maximum whenever the programs "Stops Responding".  Is there a setting to make the network traffic more efficient? Is there a setting for multiple network workstations?  The problem is also there on the server, but the delay is only about half as long...still minutes.Have these issues been reported before?  Is Intuit working on fixing these? 

The 2025/2026 EasyAcct release is a new annual product purchase (not a routine update). After installing it to replace 2024/2025, the bank reconciliation screen appears but prior-year data does not carry forward, including:Outstanding/unreconciled checks and depositsUncleared transactionsCurrent-period cleared itemsThis makes the bank reconciliation incomplete and inaccurate, effectively blocking use.The issue was reported on 12/12/25. Support has advised that it is not yet resolved and that users must wait for an email notification once a fix is available. No workaround or ETA has been provided.If other users are experiencing this same carryforward issue, please confirm here. Given that this affects a newly purchased annual version and core functionality, prompt attention is critical.Thank you.

Has anybody tried uploading W-2s to SSA yet (using EasyAcct)? I have and SSA receives them. The total wages is correct BUT the number of W-2 forms checked is wrong. I am worried this might come back to bite me.Today I uploaded some using Information Return System, and those appeared to be correct.Can this be fixed in EasyAcct?Is there a direct email for EasyAcct?  

I am trying to print the Cumulative General Ledger. I have tried multiple times and keep getting "Runtime Error 0: Please Exit and Try Again." I have done this so many times. I would just revert back to 2025, but then I cannot run 2026 payroll with the updated tax tables. Any advice on getting around this? Anyone else having this issue. Customer Support was not helpful, they said it would be fixed with the update yesterday. 

Yes, there are some bugs fixed after several updates since the terrible 25/26 was released.However, the most serious issue has never been addressed and solved, even in today's 2.03.No matter how many bugs you have fixed, with this extremely slow and laggy processing and loading time, it's still extremely frustrated for business.Has any of you in the Intuit team actually tried and used your EasyACCT? Do you know we need to wait sometimes more than 20 minutes to have print review to be done, and 10 minutes to have transactions in "Enter Transactions" loaded when switching months?It's Jan 12 today. Many of us is doing year-end reports. EasyACCT has caused a significant loss and waste of time to all those affected.

Has anyone else found that after converting a client over to 25/26 their sales transactions are gone? They've completely disappeared. This program is getting red

So I came in this morning to all the email confirmations on my 941 filings. Are then any updates on when we can refile the 940's?

Has anyone seen a fix to their A/R GL distribution detailed and summary for 2025?  Mine still shows "No Records Exist" and in history I have accounts with credit balances from 2022 that show up and they shouldn't have credits!!  The agents tell me there will be an update to fix it, but so far the first 4 updates haven't resolved my problem!

Is anyone else having issues with EasyAcct being slower in closing monthly.  Also, is anyone else attempting to copy or move a client's year in order to establish a new ledger for the following year.

I've used this software since the 90's and I've never seen anything remotely this F'd up with an update.  It's baffling how bad it is.  Add to the items messed up - the sales journal is posting 2025 entries in the 2026 journal.   

It appears the coding is missing for individual employees. When I tried to ruin an individual employee payroll journal I got a blank white screen indication no records found when the employee has worked the entire year. I looked at the issue when selecting "Range" and all of the employees only have first and middle initials only, the employee's last names are missing. Also, A/R has so many issues, adding old information (2023) into billing, missing information, ect. it's a disaster.  

Prob #1 Please advise why i cant open restored 2025 co fileProb #2 Whenever you reconcile payroll only one name pop-up taking over all other employees name on payroll side of the reconcillation. Please help, i am in a crucial time here.  

I put in all payroll for October 2025 through December 2025, along with other checks our customer wrote, debits, and data to reconcile his stuff. When I ran the report, it was off and it was off by 1 payroll check. The payroll check cleared, was NOT input twice, so I deleted it and reput it in. This did not fix the error. I deleted ALL data, debits, checks, payroll, etc. There is NOTHING but it's still showing at the top "Total Checks 21,962.57" which is the total payroll. When I run all reports, such as the transaction listing, general ledger, payroll journal, income statement for current period, and balance sheet for current year (the reports I ALWAYS run), the payroll still shows up. What is going on? 

Cautiously downloaded the latest update this morning and installed it after dreading getting any further behind with the limitations we've had waiting for fixes. We restored a backup from a client, attempted to run an earnings report and got the error message that no records are found. That's odd given this client has almost 1.5 million in payroll. We exit that screen and go to the Employee Information screen. All the employees are gone! Restored this to another pc running a much older version and it works. This is gross negligence on so many levels.  Every single person or company that paid for this software this year should be due a full refund from Intuit because it isn't doing what it is supposed to do. Nothing has changed in this program for several years, and yet suddenly this year nothing can work like it has in the past. The only thing that has increased with the software has been the price.
