ProConnect Tax

Tax payer lived in Cali for 8 months moving to Az. in September.  Was a resident of AZ until Dec 31st.  No income earned in AZ.  Do I need to file a CA 540-NR?  Need to limit the Premium Assistance Penalty to 8 months.

Where do I get a pin number?

In preparing an 1120S Schedule K-1, the gross receipts show up in in box 17 AC. If this is input on the taxpayer's 1040, this causes self-employment income to be calculated. What if anything, are other preparers doing to override this? Even if I override the box for 448 c with a -1, the gross receipts show up in the statements support. Is there somewhere in the ProConnect software to override this showing up in the statements?

What I can find on the community does not appear to ITO for 2020.

I didn't enter any medical or dental expenses.

While it said these forms are approved they are not available to print

This question was posted and answered last week, which was good. This morning I read new tax law info from Kiplinger that says, 401k repayment not income if paid back by due date of your tax return. Is that correct?

We would like all our preparers to use the same invoice template.  Can I change the system default template?  Or will each preparer have to create their own and Save as My Template?

My client had a NOL in 2020. His business started in 2018 and he was profitable in 2018 and 2019. I am trying to complete Form 1139 to carryback the 2020 NOL to 2018 and 2019 and then to carry it forward. My understanding is first we need to file Form 1120 for 2020. Then, we need to complete Form 1139 and just fax that in.In the software, is there a way to trigger Form 1139 to populate. I filled it out under Miscellaneous Forms --> Tentative Refund (1139) but it's not previewing when I press Preview Forms.

The system is extremely slow this morning.

On 1120S: How do I segregate wages, health care coverage, taxes, retirement....?Line 7 Comp of Officers: What goes there? Is it gross pay, OR is it gross pay subtract Cafe 125 and 401K, OR is Gross pay subtract Cafe 125.Line 8 Salaries and Wages: Same questionLine 12 taxes and licenses: Total FICA taxes paid by employer for all employees including shareholders? (FUTA etc...)Line 17 pension and profit sharing: ?Line 18 Employee Benefits: Employer matching 401k?Line 19: Employer cost of Health insurance? I know a lot else goes there but specifically concerned about health care coverage.

If I work on past year tax returns, will it be always credited from the newest purchased credit such as 2020?  Is there any way to avoid this problem in the future?

I have pdf and excel documents I would like to send to certain clients. How do I attach a file?
