We are teaching tax courses that use Profile within an Azure Virtual Desktop powered lab. When Profile is launched it hangs on the Profile splash screen. Quickly tapping ESC 3x will remove the splash screen and Profile continues as it should.Is there a way to stop this from happen, or bypass the splash screen?I attempted to disable the udpate check and live community connection, but after restartintg the app, the issue remains.

I only have to file one T2 corporate income tax return with CRA. Looking at Profile T2 One-Pay vs. TurboTax Business Incorporated T2, the pricing for each is not much different. I expect Profile T2 One-Pay is more robust/comprehensive and was therefore, leaning towards Profile T2 One-Pay unless there are reasons why I should purchase TurboTax Business Incorporated T2. Please let me know why TurboTax Business Incorporated T2 might be a better choice.  2. Is the Profile T2 One-Pay program identical to Profile T2 available to tax professionals or is the Profile T2 One-Pay program a scaled back version with less features? 3. With Profile T2 One-Pay, I thought I could Efile with a WAC only; someone mentioned I need an Efile number also. Which is correct please? 4. Are the Profile T2 One-Pay and TurboTax Business Incorporated T2 programs both available as download programs (vs web based online programs)? Thank you for any comments.

My client lived on property that is 1.7acres has a house that she lived in.  There is also a business that she owns 1 % of on the property.  Should I claim it as her principal residence?

I have had 2 situations where the cca in the planner version of 2025 where different from the cca in the updated versions.I have tried every conceivable combination to determine if I had entered information incorrectly, which I had not.When the information popped up to check the correct options for new purchases I was correct.I looked to see if I had transposed the information to my client correctly but of coarse  after the update the information from November was not accessible.Is there any way to access that information entered before  the many updates. 

Can I Refile T1 for 2022 if it was previously filled else where? If yes, what kind of details in Profile to process Refile. Thank you.HB

Hello,I tried to install the latest update from ProFile but it says that I don't have enough disk space to install it.  I currently have 9 GB of space on my harddrive and have deleted a bunch of things.  A new installation of ProFile is only 2 GB.  How big is the update and how much space do I need to be able to install it? 

When I follow the workaround suggested, i continue to get the same error on Step 4, coupling the two returns.  Any other suggestions other than entering each spouse's income on Schedule 2?  Can someone at Profile Support indicate when the problem will be fixed?

I am unable to see the print tree for the spouses return. The spouses name is below the print tree for the primary return, and there is a box with a check mark in it, however there are no options below to allow me to expand and select/de-select different portions of the tax return. I have searched endlessly for a solution and tried manipulating all of the settings. The spouse is linked. This is happening on all joint returns. Does anyone know what might be happening? 

When I opened the T2, which was already prepared, The schedules does not show any information which are already filled and showed when opened by any other person but I face the issue after the updation of the Profile to the latest version kindly tell me how to solve this issue  Please find the screenshot attached it is already filled T2 but it showing me blank and does not show all the information of the return 

The pdf export printer driver did not install with the downloaded install. Printer is not listed so it cannot be deleted. When installed from the pdf folder it returns an error 1797   

Hi, On the client letter, it will only print the information for a mailed return, if the efile status is set to "0". How do I turn the Efile Status off (0), so that the client letter recognizes that it is not being efiled, and will print the information for a mailed T1, versus it being efiled? Thank youScott

I am having a problem to complete Quebec form to report crypto currency. I just cannot type anything there.  

I have a client who had capital gain last year from crypto and I am trying to put it in his T1 return is S3 under crypto section, but I am unable to type anything in Details of Crypto section, also in line 15200, proceeds and ACB, I am unable to type any number in these boxes as well. Please can someone help me I need to report his capital gain from crypto.

Profile crashes at least once every day, I lose all unsaved open files.  It does say sending report to Profie but nothing changed.  Any one else having problem and have solution.

In 2024 when an eligible purchase was marked for immediate expensing the CCA  schedule automatically added the full amount to the CCA for the year and expensed it.  This year when marked as eligible for Direct Immediate Expensing it just completely removes it from the CCA class but doesn't expense the asset anywhere, not sure what everyone is doing to expenses those capital purchases?

when i click on split pension income nothing happens.  the numbers don't flicker and it stays at 0.  Is there a fix for this?
