After two days of support telling me that the update would be available by midnight last night (Jan 5th) there is none.  So, everyone who trying to upload W2s to the ssa.gov it won't work if you're using the information return system.  Also, the Form 940 still isn't available.  Now they don't know when it's available and we are week into to the month.  I don't understand this since both the form and SSA had guidelines out at the beginning of December.Anyone have easy work around?

Does Information Return System support Combined Federal/State Filing CF/SF for 1099 to the States?  Louisiana requires that be done starting January 1, 2023.

Is anyone else having the Information Return System close it self when you click the box to print the 6559 form? I thought this was an issue last year also.

Has anyone gotten the update that was supposed to come out on 1/13/2023, ( the day they were closing early and are of course closed today). I was hoping for the 940 update. 

Maryland only accepts txt files.  Using Information Return System we check the box to use txt but thus far it is only applying that to the federal W2s.  I spoke to tech support last week and they submitted a ticket, but thus far is hasn't been corrected.  Any timeline on this fix?

Installed 2022-2023 Easy ACCT yesterday.  Attempting to process a batch payroll and for the first time ever, app is asking for a path to find tax tables, which I found in C:\EASYW.  I check C: and it says no tables have been found/installed.  Any help?

When can we expect the software update so that we can e-file 940s. I downloaded the most recent version and I am able to print the 940, however I get a message that e-filing you 940 form is unavailable at this time and to come back early/mid January when efiling of these will be available. It's mid January. When is it going to be available? 

Has anyone been able to EFile the 940 yet?

Has anyone filed the 941 through EasyACCT and received a confirmation notice? I have filed a handful and usually get e response within a few hours but it's been a full day. Now the system can not refresh the e file history. 

Any news when Easy will get 940 release.  Quickbooks already has it.  

After downloading 2022-2023 version I am no longer able to receive client files from server

I updated the Information Return System this morning and it has begun crashing - AGAIN. It did this when it was first released in December, then it started working. Any one have ideas as to what's going on? EASY has been extremely solid for so many years, but the last few have been so frustrating.

Can anyone tell me how to change the update from CD-Rom to Internet?

Happy New Year everyone! I am a new IT tech recently hired at a small Accounting office. We recently purchased a brand new server and I need to figure out how to migrate the installed EasyAcct 2019 software from the old one to the new one. I tried to call EasyAcct support, but can't get through pass the automatic answering machine (tried to press 2 for installation help or 3 for everything else). If anybody can help me by pointing out what to transfer after installation of the software on the new server. I will really appreciate it. Also, I am assuming that on the client workstation, I only have to change the path from the shared drive on the old server to the new one. Anyone try printing their first 1099-NEC ?  The year is not lining up in the new box where the year must be listed.  Also, the year is supposed to be 2 digits since the form already has 20__ .  The software is printing the whole year.I realize we can adjust the location of the print settings; however, it shifts all the data and messes something else up if I try to fix for the year.Is this being fixed ?  Don't understand why the software is not troubleshooting this before rollout.

I downloaded the program Wednesday evening and ran an update Thursday. Got 3 computers done then needed to access a client. Am unable to get into any clients. This is the message:Unable to open the selected company. The company files are currently being updated by another user. Please have all other users close the company and exit the program before converting.Anyone else having this issue? I'm just now getting the downloads because I somehow got removed as 'admin' so was never notified the software was ready and then had to go through identity crap to prove I'm the one who owns and has paid for this software for all of the 20 years Intuit has owned it! It's NOT been a good week...Any ideas will be greatly appreciated - of course, 'support' isn't working today.Judy Cobb, EA

For the past three days I have been attempting to update users and email addresses because we globally changed our email domain. I get a message that they system is experiencing some problems and to try again later. This is ridiculous. It seems like EasyAcct is a neglected part of Intuit. Does anyone have any idea what's going on with this company? Thanks

Anyone else having issues today?  We cannot get into several clients, can't run a cumulative general ledger past September, transactions entered for Oct and Nov have disappeared.  We tried updating and that has not helped. 

Is there any way to sort payroll reports by employee name, rather than ID?  Or to batch renumber employees so they are sorted alphabetically?  Would be nice to be able to print payroll reports that are alphabetically sorted by employee.  

How do I set up an Agricultural Employer?  I can't find where to tell it to do Form 943 instead of 941.
