EasyACCT

When I create the transmission file, I like to print the 6559 just to have the totals etc as a final test of accuracy. Every time I create and select print, the info return system kicks me out. Anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't done the last update from Thursday morning (01/08/26) - after reading all the issues and such I didn't want to chance it.  I'm still running the 2025.2.01 version.  What is the current latest update version?  I'm asking cause I see as of today, Monday 01/12/26, there are posted from individuals stating that there was "another" update?  Has this one worked for anyone yet that has downloaded it yet?I'm honestly afraid to do anything with this program right now and running out of time to do anything quickly.  Any advice would be appreciated!

We have confirmed that the system is calculating this amount correctly. The calculation is based on the employee earnings record, which serves as the source of information for Form W-2 reporting. How the Information FlowsAs payroll is processed, the system uses the posted employee payroll data reflected in the employee earnings record to populate the corresponding boxes on Form W-2. Ensuring that payroll is posted accurately and that the employee earnings record contains correct information will result in an accurate Form W-2. Release ScheduleWe have confirmed that this calculation is working as designed. While there will be no release today, our regular release cadence will continue. The next scheduled release on January 15 will address other items in the program and is not related to this communication

The cumulative general ledger does not match the regular general ledger. It seems to have something to do with the Sales Journal not posting correctly.When I printed the cumulative general ledger through December, none of the sales journal entries were added. When I printed the cumulative GL through April, the April sales journal entry was posted both in March and April.Please correct this....Thank you!

Here are some of the issues we continue to have even after todays update (01/12/26):Manual Payroll Processing:Next Button is not going to the next check after entering a check.Entering check # that was already entered and EasyAcct kicks you out and closes the program.Solution: Go into Manual Processing module, close it and reopen and try again. This has helped with a few clients.941/940 are not allowing you to enter the NAME, TITLE OR DATED FILED like it always has before printing the formW2s are missing zeros or decimal places on several numbersEarnings Report: missing names on the Report and their totals for the year, but last page shows totals correctly for the % and tax withholding informationSolution: Run the Report from the First Employee ID to the Last Employee ID (do not leave those boxes blank prior to printing)A/P module is duplication some invoices. For example if the invoice # for 2 different vendors is the same, it will double the entry for one even if you enter for two di

Seems the system is sensitive to these postings.  Will often times, kick you out of program when in process.

Since updating to the 2025/2026 version, I can no longer search for customers by entering their last name.  It always takes me to customers beginning with the letter A.  Prior to this latest update, I could start spelling the last name, for example, Jones, and it would sort customers with the letter J and make it quick and easy to create the invoice or post the payment.

Sales Journal transaction gone though some still show up on financial statement- all the deposits are gone from the Sales Journal screen. Payroll Journal only prints the last page no detail, but earnings report prints fine and is correct. Now items won't tranfer to bank rec. Help

There was another update this morning. I updated and still having the same issues and not able to e-file 940. Update notes indicated this update was to fix e-filing issues. 

EasyACCT and Information Return System Release 2025.2.02 is live for Desktop users and available for download. Intuit Hosting users will have the update automatically installed by Jan 12, 2026. The latest release resolves several outstanding performance issues within the EasyAcct product. 

Why does the EZ custom format financial statement now print a random y with an umlaut in the upper left corner of the last page????

Is anyone able to create a W-3 since the latest update?I get a Run time error. It says Index was out of range. This happened on two different companies.The electronic files I send to SSA are still wrong too. SSA receipt says they received 85 W-2s when it should have been 17. Yikes. What kind of electronic files is EasyAcct creating for us?Intuit: We have deadlines. Please help.

Earnings report for January 2026 includes payrolls from January 2025, for one client. For another, the 2025 YTD earnings report does not include the total for the last employee whose last name starts with a Z. The SUTA report is correct, however. You will have to verify the YTD earnings against the last payroll check register for 2025, assuming it was correct at the time you calculated and printed that last payroll. You must verify that each payroll calculation is correct at the time you print the register. Check stubs should only show the correct YTD. Any word on when these issues will be fixed?

Trying to enter in a manual payroll and I keep getting this error message.  Anyone else (on top of the other SO MANY issues we are having)???  Any help would be appreciated. 

Hopefully the following helps those trying to do 1099s in the 2025 Information System. I did a 1099-NEC today (01-09-2026) for one client, who only had one 1099 to issue. I did get an error message about the company address when I tried to create the electronic file. I had to remove the # from the company address and put in the word Unit. Once I did that the electronic file was created and I was able to upload it to the IRS Fire System. I probably could have used No. instead of Unit, but the hashtag would not work. I did this 1099 today after updating to the most current version 2025.2.02. I don't know if the number sign would have been a problem in the recipient's address, but it was a problem in the Company's (Payer) address. 

Where can I get a specific version download? I need Version 2025 2.01. The regular download process will just give the most current and I do not want that one. 

Has anyone downloaded it yet?  I'm scared... haha

Your answers to questions seem... shall we say, preprogrammed.2nd question: Was the development of the 2025/2026 version done by AI? As a 30+ year user of EasyACCT I have not seen major changes to it from year to year. I'm puzzled at how this version could be so messed up unless done by AI.May I suggest you start over with the 2024/2025 version and put some real human programmers to work making the few changes necessary  to bring it up to date for 2026?

Just curious if anyone who is using the new updated version is NOT having any issues?  I'm always leery of doing the updates as soon as they roll out as there are usually always bugs.  Being in a time sensitive industry, I can't wait days or weeks (or months as sometimes has been the case) to use a version of the program that doesn't work correctly.  So, if enough users can convince me that it's worth updating, I may just move on and do so.  Otherwise, I'll still to the version that's working for us at the moment.Thank you!!!

We are printing payroll checks today and the program is removing the spacing on the bank account numbers for MICR codes.  Calling EasyACCT and wait time for rep is 20-30 minutes.  

Can we e-file 1099's direclty through Information Systems this year?  Or do we need to go through the FIRE system?

Good Morning, Everyone!Just wanted to share how we are working around the issues with the new program in hopes it may help others.1.  We copied the 26TTBLS file folder to a new location so that we could copy it back once the old program was installed.2.  We uninstalled new program3. We installed old program under:  "EasyACCT Professional Accountant previous years  - 2024 - Download Full CD Image"  ***note - when I chose the option to download the 2024 version, it kept downloading the new version, so I chose the "Download Full CD Image" option and the old version downloaded correctly. I did have to manually run it from the Autorun file where it saved on our computer, but it worked.  Also - it did go through one update and loaded all of the previous updates to the old version - so we were happy about that.4. We copied the 26TTBLS folder back under the EASYW folder 5. We restored all of our backup files to new directories on our computers.  ***

Clients are totally screwed up . I am finding payroll information for employees that have not worked in years and information on existing employees is completely wrong..... Vendor information is also completely wrong..... At least an hour to wait to talk to somebody  

I discovered a salaried employee's check had disappeared from a November payroll.  I looked back and made sure the payroll checks for that payroll date had been posted and they were.  

I e-filed one of my client's 4th Quarter 2025 Form 941 48 hours ago, and it is still showing pending status, is anyone else having the same issue?
