Implementing Carry Forward When Never Used Before

I've been doing tax returns for years but have never used the carry forward function in ProFile (PF). I've been using an Excel spreadsheet to track carry forwards instead of using the function in PF. 

 

Is there a way I can consolidate all returns and implement the carry forward function? Or would I need to start from scratch?

When you go to "Carry Forward" in Profile, you can select multiple files at one time by holding down the CTRL key.  Is that what you mean?
