How do I get the 2024 software to efile a second amended return for the same client?

I already filed a 1040x for a client; but now need to amend the return again. How do I get the ProSeries software to allow me to file it electronically?

The instructions are good but always a good practice to make a ‘Save as” copy and remove the efile checkmarks so you have a copy of the original in case you mess up.

If at first you don’t succeed…..find a workaround
