can i import a consolidated 1099 from Schwab and have the information populate

I have the same question. I thought I did direct import last year, but cannot seem to figure out this year . Anybody with a solution?

Hi @sbrener-eppsbren and @paintdogos , ProConnect does not have the ability to read a 1099 Consolidated statement to import the individual form information. However, you can use the import hub on the right of the screen to import the statement. Then, click on the 3 dots to split the document. This will allow you to designate which pages are for what type of form i.e. page 1 could be a W2, page 2 could be 1099-div, etc. Once you do that you will set each form to their respective type and then they can be imported. Instead of going through all of that you could enter the 1099 info manually in less time.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

I bit my tongue and wanted to say that when I noticed the post earlier. But I didn't want to start my Monday by getting lectured by folks saying they pay good money for something that doesn't work. Been there, done that ------ many, many times. 😬
