Is GIFI code 2590 correct to use for Deposit funds to clients Trust account  and  GIFI code 3470 for Trust liability account in T2 return of a Law corporation? 

Have the following questions with regards to Schedule 7 for Adjusted Aggregative Investment Income (on a T2): - Will Profile be removing the "If this is your first year starting after 2018, complete the following portion" for 2020 and subsequent year T2 files?- Will Profile carryforward the Adjusted Aggregative Investment Income amounts from a 2019 T2 into the 2020 T2? Based upon the most recent update (2020.3.5) these issues have not been addressed.  Thank you.

hi I have a situation for my clientclient lived in AB from 1998 till now. I get error message when installing Profile: "the installation of Microsoft Visual c ++ 2013 redistributable package (x86) appears to have failed"

Profile will not connect to docusign.  It had been connected before but somehow will no longer connect.  I have tried changing my password and it still won't connect.  It takes me to a blank screen when I try and log into intuit.  It gives me this message when I make an attempt.

I have a T4PS with a loss in box 34 and nothing in box 38. I am getting an error that says box 38 must not exceed box 34 but it clearly does. Is this just a glitch?

When will Profile be updates so I can file T2s with year ending June 30, 2021

Does anybody know the "new way to authorize a representative"? From CRA:  "Starting on October 18, we’re introducing a new way to authorize a representative, which will help your clients protect their tax information using the CRA’s digital services.",  I can't seem to find any further information regarding these changes.

Today I was working on several of my clients’ T1 adjustments, some going back to 2012. I though it would be a relatively easy process, but I was so wrong! Once I was trying to open returns (coupled-i.e., married or common-law) for years before 2020, it was a nightmare: I kept receiving those extremely annoying messages, “Access Violation at address xxxxxx in module “profile.exe”….” I was unable to open (using the “F5” key) the spouse’s return, I was unable to save some of those returns, I was unable to even sometimes close some of the returns and had to close Profile. After spending about 9 hours in the office, I probably saw a few hundreds of the “Access Violation” pop-up messages. Shame on you, Profile!!! This perennial problem has been reported for many, many years and apparently there is no solution. I remember that on two occasions a Profile technician helped me to “fix” this problem, but within a few days I was getting the same messages. Honestly, when I charge my clients fo

We are working on a T2 client's 2016 Corporate tax return.  When we carry forward the 2015 data file to 2016, the following message pops up:H:\T2\T2-Data\NewCorp.GT2 was saved with a more recent version of Profile than the one  you are currently running.  Please upgrade your version of Profile to the current version. Our current Profile version is 2021.0.5 yesterday.  Please advise what can be done.

Greetings!  After I log on to DocuSign, and then access the "Sign" Document button: The only page that comes up is the "Change Languages" listing. I cannot get beyond this page, and I've gone nuts trying to clear cookies, change browsers, and deletechrome adblockers, but nothing lets me eliminate that "catalogue of languages" page. Hello,Using Profile T1 (version 2021.0.0), and have started to experience below problems since upgrading to 2021.0.0: 1. Options package:The settings are saved initially, but as Profile is re-opened few times, the settings start to get disappear for all years except 2021. I have experienced this multiple times with different  workstations.This needs proper QA and need to be fixed ASAP. 2. Monitors:In addition to default monitors, I use more monitors. No matter how many times I add the monitors, as Profile is re-opened few times, all non-default monitors disappear. I have experienced this multiple times with different  workstations.This needs proper QA and need to be fixed ASAP. 3. RC72 (box # 10):This box shows today's date by default. It allows to over-ride the date (by typing the new date or F2). Once the default value is overridden, we can reset back to today's value by F2 (hence pressing F2 back & forth allows to reset or override today's date).&nb

Audit indicates 3 warnings, which I can't clear. I have entered and re entered the information, but warnings persist, and therefore i can't e-file. Used Profile fo years, and the same information was OK last year, but not n w.

My client got a letter of review from CRA regarding her dependent son for 2019. Apparently CRA did not receive a Schedule 5. I went back to the return in Profile and see that I filled in the information, so not sure why CRA doesn't have it.Question:  Can I re-file just the schedule 5 from Profile, if so, how do I do it? Not sure how to handle this situation.

Hello, 1. Would love to hear your experience in using Profile's DocuSign feature. Love it, hate it, anything that I should be aware of?2. What package of DocuSign did you get (https://www.docusign.ca/products-and-pricing)? Annual rates:- Personal ($150; 60 envelopes per year)- Standard ($400; 100 envelopes per year)- Biz Pro ($635; 100 envelopes per year)I understand that each envelopes can have multiple documents, but truly every time we send to the client for signatures would count as an envelope (hence 100 clients on annual subscription). Is my count understanding correct? With almost every client preferring eSignature, bucket of 100 would get used up quick. Any thoughts or are you guys doing something else? Thanks
