Hi @fox4tax  Here is a help article you can review: Running Document Management System (DMS) database repair utility DBRepair. For more assistance please contact Lacerte Support

We used to have Private Messages available here, but it does not yet seem to be working. @fox4tax  Contact me at [Removed by Moderator] and I might be able to help you. I have some of the old DMS  programs. You could look for a DMS directory and see if there is a DMSSetup program. Each year a new one was released and you needed to purchase it. The new year program would work with that year and all old years, but the old year would not work with the new year. The new year would not work , period, if you had not purchased it.

Hi @fox4tax great to see you in the Community! To add to what @George4Tacks said, if you still have the old database stored on your server, the first step is to navigate to the DMS database folder and check whether the DMSSETUP is present. If it is, run the installer, back up your database, and then try opening it.

If you don't find the DMSSETUP, you may be able to download the installer from My Account. Sign in using your Lacerte credentials, then look for Document Management System - Lacerte previous years. Select the appropriate year, download the product, and install it. Once the installation is complete, back up your existing DMS database, if you haven't already, and then try opening it.
