1040-SR conversion when client is locked

Lacerte, 

Wake up!  Locked returns convert to 1040-SR when locked.  I have 1040-SR suppressed because quite honestly it's stupid the IRS even has SR returns.

Please fix.  This is going on three years now and no action by your programmers.

For $30K a year I expect better.

    I too agree that a Form 1040-SR is as crazy as can be. I have SUPPRESSED the Form 1040-SR in the: Settings, Options, Tax Return, Form 1040-SR "Supress"  

    By doing this, I have had no issues with the system reverting to a form other than what I have chosen in Options. 

    Best of luck with this suggestion.

    Hi @spalazzo great to see you in the Community and thanks for posting about locked returns converting to 1040-SR when locked. We checked on this and do not see it happening in Lacerte. If you are still experiencing this, we would recommend reaching out to Lacerte Support. They would be able to remote in, take a look and get it reported if need be.
