Massachusetts State Return

When the Massachusetts return is printed as a pdf or paper, the social security numbers and phone numbers are incorrect.  If you look at the forms in the program, the numbers are correct.  This need to be corrected.  Our client almost used a pay voucher with the incorrect social security number.

Hi @Office Manager Welcome to the community and thanks for posting!

    Could you share:

Lacerte tax year (e.g., TY2024, TY2023) and if this is the Individual Tax module.

The Massachusetts form(s) affected (Form 1, 1-NR/PY, vouchers, etc.).

This is for TY2024 and it is for an individual.  It is on all forms.  The client lives in Texas.

I just tested my one/only MA tax return that was filed back in April.  It all looks just fine when printed to PDF.  The return IS locked, and based on this thread I'm not unlocking it to see if an update is causing a problem.

AND.... I just tested it on a MA return that's on extension and all looks fine.

Both of mine are MA resident returns.

Is your problem child a non-resident return?

Yes, it is a non-resident return

Thanks @abctax55 for helping out! @Office Manager we have checked with support and they are not able to reproduce this. They tried a resident/non-resident return and multiple return options for printing. Given the many environment variables, would recommend reaching out to Lacerte support.

@Kathi_at_Intuit   YVW, I'm avoiding tackling the gnarliest return I do so needed a distraction.

@Office Manager   -  reboot?  update? update printer drivers?  All worth a try before trying to call support.
