The EFILE#1004 will appear in the auditor when a T1 return was not accepted by CRA when electronically filed. There should also be a CRA EFILE error number that will explain why the return was not accepted by CRA. The CRA will post a message in the dialog box during transmission with the same efile error number and explanation as appears in the ProFile auditor.
If you resolve the issue in the return or as CRA directs, you can uncheck CRA errors in the File > properties dialog box.
The error#1004, 1003 and 99173 are all generic warnings. When these codes are present there are other warnings or notices that need to be resolved in the auditor.
