Errors after updating

I downloaded the latest update for ProFile, but for some reason it wiped out ALL, and I mean ALL of my defaults. It wiped out all of my preparer info along with my EFILE password, it wiped out Auditor warning defaults, everything. I had to go through the Options menu and toggle things on and off just get Profile to behave like it used to.

Now I'm trying to eFile a 2019 return, and I get the following error:

Unable to get response from the Government Agency. Please try again later
CRA T1 EFILE service failed at returnCode=302

I've updated my eFile code & password to my latest one and I've enabled the EFILE service in the "Eletronic Filing Options" menu. I'm sure it has to do with the latest ProFile update, because I successfully eFiled 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020 returns less than 30 days ago, pre-update.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Eric

I had the same problem. Moreover, I had to input the E-file password twice, as it disappeared. I mentioned my other problems in my recent posts, "Module Options keep reverting to blank".

Today I installed version 2021.1.0. and spent probably one hour entering all the options (Environment, Module, Form Selection) and so far, they do not disappear. However, there're some other glitches and I'll have to call Profile Technical Support.

Hello,

there has been issues in versions 2021.0.0 and 2021.0.5 where saving an option package would wipe out the settings from previous years. It has been resolved in version 2021.1.0 and going forward. We apologize for the inconveniences.

Sincerely

Profile Support team.
