CRA Code: EF001122

"Authentication Failed
One of your identification fields in the file does not match our records. The
entry must be corrected and the file must be resaved."

 

Typical type of CRA error.  Which identification field?  Is this referring to my EFILE username and password or to a field in the client file?  If so, which one? 

 

This error is of course not listed on the CRA website so no information there!

Is this  a T1 ?  is this a simple return, do you have any special forms? like T2125, T776, farming income etc? Is there any errors in the auditor?

Its a T3. There is no error in the auditor and no explanation anywhere of what that error code means. Nothing special.

Try going to EFILE Options then under T3/FX  verify EFILE ID and password
