Estimated Tax Payments

I have a client who started a sole proprietor business.  She has been paying quarterly taxes but realized she was using the business ID number instead of her SSN. Is that going to matter? Can I still reference those payments on her individual tax return?

    Using my clairvoyant powers, I sense an IRS notice in her future.  If someone has a Social Security number with those digits, life could get interesting.
