I have a client who is being denied additional EIC because line 10 on the EIC worksheet shows he has more than $25,250 income MFJ.  I have read the entire 596 Pub and cannot find where this number ever comes up disallowing the EIC.  Can someone shed light on this issue?

    $25,250  is in Pub 596, page 24, Worksheet A, Part 2

    Follow the math on the EIC Worksheet in your clients return -  specifically look at amount on line 10
