8958 MFS and e-file

I get a diagnostic 53794 when trying to e-file a MFS return in Lacerte that has an 8958, allocation of income in community property states.  It says that the IRS is not accepting efiles with this form as it is busy with the extenders.

Does anyone have any insight into when this might re-open?

Hi Jerry,

This diagnostic should be changed to only trigger with the 1040NR for Lacerte and PTO as of today’s release.
