If you are experiencing an error code 54 indicating that you are not on the most recent version of the ProSeries program, when attempting to electronically file, please follow the steps below.
Note: If you are in the Hosted Environment, please close and relaunch the ProSeries program to collect the latest updates.
Important: Be sure to follow all these steps. Failing to check for updates a second time may cause ProSeries to remain on and old version for one or all of the installed forms.
