Will there be a program update to indicate that one qualifies for Hurricane Ida Relief?  Maybe a check box or something similar?

IRS says they can tell by their zip code if they're in a disaster area and have extra time to file.

Do you know if the IRS will use the preparer's zip code if the taxpayer is located out of the Ida zone?  That is also an issue for us.  Thanks!

Im not sure...but it would seem to be a logical step to take, to avoid all the penalty notices that will need to be dealt with otherwise.
