I don't understand why a get a validate lastName, firstName, Zip Code and SSN when attempting to start an 1099 import from a financial institution? Does someone have a solution?

solved my own error, you have to be a paid preparer. So if you have any clients that you do for free in order to get the financial info change to being a paid preparer get the info and change back.
now, has anyone been able to get the 1099B data from any financial institutions? I haven't, i still advovate for importing the data from an excel spreadsheet.
