I cannot do a product update for e-filing professional tax returns I get an error code 5.

If this is a stand alone system, try using REPAIR Updates from the Windows Programs menu (dont try to open ProSeries), if this is on a Network version of ProSeries, I think you'll need to call into support.
I'm getting the same error. Tools - Repair Update and I ran it as an administrator, but i still am having the same error issue
