E-Filing Delay

Any reason why it is taking more than 2 days for an e-filed return to be accepted by the IRS. Just finished early on the 21st?

    Same here - I efiled a federal return on 6/22, still waiting to be acknowledged as of 6/24. But I e-filed another federal return today and it was accepted nearly immediately.

    Its part of this issue, instead of rejecting, now IRS is holding them until its fixed.
