The person this morning was in the ProSeries Facebook group, this is what he posted when he finally got it working
"Did the ole reboot and about seven attempts and now seems to be working. The original issue was the app would close out upon sign in."
Sounds like youve done all that though, I can give you instructions for a clean reinstall.
I saw someone else mention this earlier today, did you run REPAIR Updates?
Have you restarted the computer?
hello
yes ! i did
i spoke to an Intuit Customer rep/ specialist..an hour on the phone with her and was not able to help . she had to hang up on me claiming she spent too much time. she is a travel agent and was reading off the manual . She left me with an annoying instruction " remove your Microsoft Edge" it interferes with proseries and use IE only.
That person doesn't realize The Edge can not be uninstalled. it was a brush off and nothing was resolved. Frustrating and i have been with intuit for over 25 plus years. This is unacceptable and i have been on the(as i am writing this message) for the second time waiting on line for 54 minutes...ridiculous
