    Access to software

    After being with Intuit for over 30 years I am not renewing my tax software with them for 2020.  How long will I have access to the software that I am licensed to use?

    You can still print and e-file existing tax returns forever.

    In order to e-file or print a new tax return, I think that expires December 31st unless you renew the Fast Path ($420-ish per year?).

    If I may ask...

    • Not renewing - are you retiring from tax prep?
    • Are you switching to a different application? If so, what?
    • Going back to calculator, pencil and paper?

    That's a bit extreme, don't you think?  With the IRS Fill-in PDF forms you no longer need the pencil. 🙂

    @rbynaker you mean there are solutions / situations / conditions / realities that are NOT extreme? A sort of middle ground, or compromise? Inconceivable! 🙂

    I think you can print prior years returns but not e-file them. See this link:
