Question

Il-1040 - errors

To Illinois preparers:

Has anyone noticed on the Illinois worksheet, the "International ACH Transaction" question does not auto populate an error as it has done in the past?

Has something changed within Illinois where this question is not important or is it a glitch with PS? Im waiting to see if someone from PS will answer my question as well.

Thanks

I vote "glitch".  The Minnesota software still treats it as an error.

Thank you my friend. Yeah, i assume its a glitch too.

This question is ridiculous quite frankly and a global function to check "No" would go a long way. In the 30 years I've been prepping, not ONCE has funds gone outside or come inside from overseas and quite frankly, I would know based on the RTN's.

I hope they catch and fix or there will be some pissed off Illinois preparers.

Yeah.  Pretty much all of my clients bank at the First National Bank of Frostbite Falls so I have never run into one either.
