8879 Client Remote Signing Issues

Vols3827
Level 3

Upon client receiving request to sign the 8879 (efile authorization) remotely, she's asked questions about relatives addresses as a type of validation before she can access?  So it doesn't allow her to access and sign the authorization form.

How do I get these questions removed so that they aren't an obstacle for her to sign that 8879 remotely?

IRS requires knowledge based authentication (KBA) as the price for the privilege of being able to esign the efile authorization.

You can't get rid of it.

The more I know, the more I don't know.
