Why am I not receiving a multi-factor authentication 6 digit code from the IRS for PTIN renewal

I'm trying to renew my ptin at irs.gov/ptin and unable to receive a multi-factor authentication 6 digit code from the IRS.  Is this an issue going on?

Spam, nothing


Then I would call it a day and try again next week.

Did you click on the box to tell them to send it to you?  The screen says they will send it to you, but it doesn't do it automatically.  You have to actually tell them you want it.
