W4 form

Hi

There is no place to put allowances on the new W-4 form; however, the software continues to state i need to put allowances in.

The 2019 version of W-4 has a place but not 2020's form.

I cannot get the error cleared.  Any suggestions?

Will there be a fix?

I had the same issue, but the W-4 is not e-filed with the return so I didn't worry about it.

Im sure eventually they will update the W4 to the current version...its not a document that gets sent with an Efiled return, so Im sure its not high on the priority list.

You can use the IRS W4 tool if needed.
