unable to e-file individual return

an individual e-file was rejected with an error code 54, saying I don't have the latest update, but program says I have all the latest updates

Re-boot....magic elixir!

    If the standard magic elixir doesn't work, go to your computer start button.  Click on it and then click on ProSeries and then select repair updates.  If that doesn't work, call it a day and go home ---------- don't let Intuit ruin your Super Bowl Sunday.
