Transfer client from Basic to Pro

I filed an extension in Basic and now want to move the Client to Pro - can it be done and have the extension acknowledged?

I don't remember if Professional will 'see' the extension or not, but if the IRS has already acknowledged it, that is really all you need to be concerned about.
