transfer client

How can I transfer a client who return I did in 2022 but does Not appear on the list to transfer in 2023

    Open the 2022 program and verify folder as well the spelling of the file name for that client (scroll all the way over to the right hand side of the screen for the "path" and file name of that client. 

    If they have a 2022 return, then as long as the 2023 program is looking in the correct folder for 2022 returns to transfer, it WILL be in there.

      Are you in the right 'type of file' filter as well.  I've been guilty of looking for a prior 1040NR in the land of 1040s.

      Open the 2022 return and save it with a new name.  Just worked for me last night with a wayward 1120-S.
