time to reach IRS

I've called the IRS several times the last couple of days but they are saying call back another day.  Anyone have a better way of reaching them regarding a

There is no magic to calling but you do need a lot of luck.  During tax season anyways, you have better luck calling later in the week and the early bird tends to have better luck getting the worm.

    You need to hit the phone like its a radio contest and you need to be caller 100 for concert tickets!

      If you are a Tax Practitioner  (Able to represent via Form 2848 or Form 8821), you can call IRS Tax Practitioner Priority Service line at 1-866-860-4259. They have an option where IRS will call you back when its your turn (Usually the wait time is not more than 1 hour).
