Software not transmitting returns

I'm having an issue trying to electronically file 2016 and 2017 income tax. The issue started when the software crashed submitting a 2020 return. After several attempts I finally got the 2020 return to send, as well as a 2018 and 2019. However, I still cannot get 2016 and 2017 to transmit successfully.

You can't efile 2016 and 2017 anymore.

You can only do current year and 2 prior years.

The more I know the more I don’t know.

      That e-file ship sailed last fall.

      Only 2018,19, 20 can still be efiled.
