S ELECTION - REV PROC 2013-30

We have a reasonable cause to file for an S Corp for tax year 2021. We are attaching Form 2553 and supporting documents. Given that we filed as a C Corp in 2020 and we are filing as an S Corp for 2021/With 2553, can we e-File the return?

Yes, you should be able to.  Be sure to use the 2553 within the program and attach a signed copy.  There is a check box for RevProc 2013-30 on F2553.

Thank you. I read through the board that it needs to be paper filed so I was a bit confused. Thank you very much. I will attach 2553 and supporting documents with the 1120-S and E-File.

In 2020, I had 2019 F1120S that I efiled with F2553 attached.
