Rejected after deadline

Good morning, I am so stressed I have a client who filed super late and his file was rejected the next day. Will he still have to pay a fine? There asking for the health forms on the rejection. Or is there a way I can process it in the system?

Hopefully the client has the 1095A. You have a few days to clean up rejections.

You have until the 23rd to resubmit the return and be considered as filed on time.

Did the client owe, is that why you're concerned about a penalty?
