Difference between reject error code F1040-501-01 and error code F1040-506-02. Seems to be confusing since only one dependent on the return. Tried to check box and resubmit as IMPERFECT return, still get rejection and can not figure out why.
Looks like one of them is a name SSN mismatch, the other is saying the SSN has already been used for EIC on another tax return.
Youve verified the last name & SSN match by looking at the actual SS Card that was issued to the child?
