Paid preparer is third party designee

Why doesn't the checkbox for "Paid preparer is third party designee" on the Info Worksheet populate when the checkbox in Options is marked for it? One more thing to deal with . . .

    Someone else had the opposite experience they didnt want it checked but it kept doing it automatically, even after they unchecked the box.

    I had one get weird yesterday and gave me an error on the Fed info worksheet, I had to uncheck and recheck the box then retype my PIN on the Fed info worksheet, then it was fine...I have no explanation.
