Opening basic tax program

I have basic proseries installed on my computer and I have an icon on the desktop I used to open this program. I have used this program a few days ago June. 2025 and now this date july 2025 when I try to open the program the basic proseries logo comes up, stays up a few seconds and disappears and nothing else happens. Help

The first thing I would do is restart the computer then try again, if the outcome is the same, then I would go to the Windows programs menu, find PS Basic 2025 and under that you should see REPAIR UPDATES, run that and see if that fixes the problem.
