MY CLIENT FILED MFJ FOR 2019 WITH A ALIEN NON RES SPOUSE. DID NOT MAKE THE ACTUEL ELECTION OF FILING A LETTER FILED THAT WAY BECAUSE HE MET THE PHYSICAL PRESENCE TEST OF BEING IN THE USA FOR MORE THEN THE 183 DAYS AS CALCULATED BY IRS RULES. THEY DID NOT COME TO THE US AT ALL IN 2020 DUE TO COVID THEY WERE STUCK IN FRANCE. CAN SHE FILE MFS FOR 2020

all CAPS is considered yelling, and also is harder to read. Might want to try to use normal punctuation in future questions in order to get more/quicker replies. Remember the replies you get are from volunteers, and you want to make things as easy as possible for them so they don't just skip to the next one.

As to your question, I don't have experience in that area and will wait for someone who does to help you out.
