malware

When I open Pro Series I get this message wanting to "update" my computer:

"We have detected that your system is running an older version of Microsoft VC++ redistributable.  This must be upgraded to latest version for ProSeries to work with latest tax compliances.

Click Ok to continue with installation"

I need to know if this is usual or am I facing a malware issue?

Hi @ak70 @Just-Lisa-Now- -

You are not facing a malware issue. This update is not mandatory at the moment, but if you run into any download or program issues, updating the Visual C++ redistributable package (also known as VC++ redist) to the latest version is important to ensure that your system has the necessary components to run ProSeries.
