I lost 3 clients on the 2018 form 1040 section

Look for the client files in the ProWin18/18Data folder.   If not there, check your Recycle bin.

    Are they just missing in your homebase view?  If you open up your computer's file explorer, are they still showing up in your client data folder on your hard drive?
