This is from a mutual fund, less than $300 for single person (if that still applies) listed on 1099-DIV

I usually just double click on the line on schedule B and enter the amount on the popup window that appears.

I had to look since I don't have the new schedules memorized.  Looks like now (if you're eligible to skip the 1116) you enter it in ProSeries (I have Pro, but I would hope it's the same place in Basic) 1040 Wks Schedule 3 Box 48.  Putting the number there does seem to carry it to actual Schedule 3 and then on to 1040 box 12.
