Identity Protection Pin Info

Two separate clients have come in. Wife's PIN is exactly the same!!! I have checked the notice date, tax year and notice #---both are the same.

Have filed the first client today (with PIN). will attempt to file second client probably on Thursday. Anyone else see this before?

Maybe the identity theft has gotten so bad that the IRS is running out of numbers. :)

I haven't had any couples in this year yet that have the protection PIN to compare to.

Ive only had one couple in with IPPins….so I don't have any more to look at.

Is the spouses 077650 ? LOL If so, my spouse got the same one too!

no but i thought i heard at a seminar that there are only 300,000 IPPINs avaiable
