Trying to efile a client's return.  The returns are being rejected because we did not input the IPP.  However, the client never requested a pin.  Client efiled the last two years' of tax returns without an IPP.

His 114 (Foreign Bank) went through.

Have never found a way to over ride this.

Is it possible?

He may not have requested one, but IRS may have issued one. If he cant get it reissued, he'll have to paper file.
