How do I remove an erroneous entry from Form 8949 ?

I must not be removing the beginning check mark or something. I cannot delete a long term sale entry on form 8949 which feeds to Schedule D Capital Gains and Losses. Any help would be appreciated.

What if you try deleting the line that it was on?

    If it is the only entry on the 1099B worksheet  do Ctrl+W to delete the entire worksheet

    or like @PATAX  said  delete that line    right click - select Delete Line in Table
