Friday Lighter Notes

I'm on the east coast. I already lost an hour due to Daylight Savings time. I called the White House and asked who could I talk to, to get that hour back - roll forward during tax season doesn't work for me.

Or, if I travel to the west coast do I get another three hours to work? Of I travel across the international date line do I get an extra day?

As I post each year- yesterday was my cutoff. No new appointments, no meetings (with some exceptions). No new tax returns. With drop offs and portal uploads so uncontrollable I can now get my six weeks worth of open returns hopefully done in less than three.

Sent email to all clients who never got me their stuff about my cutoff and extensions. In less than 12 hours heard from over half of them (been so busy, my dog died, been standling in TSA lines for weeks now).

Have a productive Friday and weekend.

I lost a whole 24 hours with this year not being a leap year.
